I’ve been a stranger in strange lands for over a year now and it’s only by the assistance and support I have received on the road that I’ve made it this far. ¬†At least once a day somebody has come to my aid, whether it be giving me directions, helping me find transport or giving me somewhere to get my head down for the night.

The following people are just some of the many ODYSSEY HEROES – believe me, there are many more, but it’s not always possible to snap a pic of border guards who welcome me into their country with a cup of tea, the policeman who slips his mobile phone through the cell bars so I can call for help or the bus driver who drives through the night to get me where I need to be.

These pages are dedicated to everyone who has shown me kindness and given me a helping hand.

I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

No more heroes after you got out of Kuwait?
